Product Description
This is a design which can be stitched in either of two ways. There is the basic cross stitch version with just a few beads added or there is a fully embellished version inspired by Crazy Quilting. You can do as much or as little embellishing as you like. Stitch and seam treatment suggestions are included but this is the perfect design to to use your imagination and to use up some of the fibers, beads, trims, buttons etc. that we all have in our stash. Finishing instructions are also included.
The basic stitched model was stitched on 22 ct Hardanger fabric (white) using NPI silks and Mill Hill Petite beads.
The embellished version adds ribbons, charms, beads, pearls, buttons, additional fibers (silks and perle cottons) and a tatted butterfly.
The stitch count is 76 wide x 195 high which when finished (using 22 ct) results in a pocket 3-1/2" x 4-1/2". The design is suitable for all fabric types.
